Liz is a 26 year old mom of two as well as a baker at a gluten-free bakery in her small town on the Palouse.  In her spare time (ie, the daytime hours when her kids are napping), Liz enjoys casual gaming, reading epic fantasies, and amateur photography, as well as handmade crafting (knitting and sewing.)  Italian on her dad's side, Liz was devastated to receive a wheat allergy diagnosis in the fall of 2011; after a brief period of denial,  she embraced the gluten-free lifestyle and hasn't looked back.  The blog was started as an idea that she would post vents about her life, as well as allergy-friendly menu plans, diet tips that have worked for her, and the occasional original recipe.  Mostly, though, it was an excuse to get back into writing.
